Turtle Time

This is "Paint Chip"! He received the name because when he was purchased he was the size of a quarter (chip) plus he is a painted turtle (paint). He is now the size of a dinner plate(he is in a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket). Today, on Labor Day we labored alright. We scrubbed his tank.. I believe it is 30 gallons. He is my little sisters. I am babysitting him, I guess you could say permanently. When my sister got married there was no room for him. We keep him in the school room. Our hard work paid off, the tank looks great!

Ecclesiastes 9:10 "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest".

Personal Testimony

I was doing "well" for the average joe. I had a husband, a home, two beautiful children, a dog, 2 cars. Something was missing. It was LOVE. Not just any love it was the LOVE of JESUS! It was 2 a.m. I was on the phone. I was telling my friend how the weekend, husband, children they were just not enough anymore. Something was missing, and she told me what it was. She shared Christ with me. How He died for me and my sins, and all I had to do was accept Him. How could I do that? I had done some things that I was not to proud of.. How could I ever be forgiven for them? Then she told me that He paid for them already and that it is a free gift, all I had to do was accept HIM. I could not come before God with anything, but the blood of Christ. That was the only thing that could make me whole! That night, I prayed, I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour.. You too, can do the same.
