~Happy Thanksgiving part 2~

I am hoping that this will not be the last Thanksgiving with my dad! He is back in the hospital...day 6....already!

I am thankful for the time with my dad....for everyone being able to be together for a nice family meal....for the chance to take a last family photo!

I love you, dad!

But, somethings are just meant to be the way that they were set forth to be...We will miss your father, Shelley, when we do lose him tremendously. We just need to remember to put our faith into Jesus Christ and praise him for all that we do have.

Personal Testimony

I was doing "well" for the average joe. I had a husband, a home, two beautiful children, a dog, 2 cars. Something was missing. It was LOVE. Not just any love it was the LOVE of JESUS! It was 2 a.m. I was on the phone. I was telling my friend how the weekend, husband, children they were just not enough anymore. Something was missing, and she told me what it was. She shared Christ with me. How He died for me and my sins, and all I had to do was accept Him. How could I do that? I had done some things that I was not to proud of.. How could I ever be forgiven for them? Then she told me that He paid for them already and that it is a free gift, all I had to do was accept HIM. I could not come before God with anything, but the blood of Christ. That was the only thing that could make me whole! That night, I prayed, I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour.. You too, can do the same.
