Man's Best Friend

This is Yoshi...my dad's best friend! My dad had not seen him since July 4Th when he went to the hospital! My dad felt so bad, because Yoshi was more interested at sniffing everywhere then sitting and loving on him. So I told my dad that I would try to bring him more often.

I am so glad that you are starting to get better dad! I love you!

Corby Johnson said...: Dear Dear Shelley...I love this picture of your dad...he was telling me today that he wishes we had some good pictures of him and not in a hospital bed and gown...I told him that we do and what a perfect example...he will love this with his favorite little Yoshi in it...This will make his day...It has made mine...By the way this doesn't have him with his haircut, but thank you for giving him one. He looks so handsome...I love him so. I always love you and your beautiful family...take care and God bless one and all.

Personal Testimony

I was doing "well" for the average joe. I had a husband, a home, two beautiful children, a dog, 2 cars. Something was missing. It was LOVE. Not just any love it was the LOVE of JESUS! It was 2 a.m. I was on the phone. I was telling my friend how the weekend, husband, children they were just not enough anymore. Something was missing, and she told me what it was. She shared Christ with me. How He died for me and my sins, and all I had to do was accept Him. How could I do that? I had done some things that I was not to proud of.. How could I ever be forgiven for them? Then she told me that He paid for them already and that it is a free gift, all I had to do was accept HIM. I could not come before God with anything, but the blood of Christ. That was the only thing that could make me whole! That night, I prayed, I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour.. You too, can do the same.
